I have an Epson Stylus C84 which is probably similar to your C42. I can
print report info on the rear of my cards in landscape mode with no problems
using 6.03. I can send you the custom label parameters I use if you want.

Subject: [Dx4win] QSL label definitions / direct QSL printing
Hello
I have a question regarding QSL label definitions. I have two custom
definitions for
two kinds of labels, but each time I do an upgrade, I have to re-enter the
label
parameters.
After an upgrade, I copy the entire "save" folder to the new version's
folder, but
label definitions seem to be stored elsewhere, or am I missing something?
I know, it doesn't take more than a couple of minutes to write down the
parameters
from the old DX4WIN and insert them into the new version, but still... I'd
like to
know where these are stored.
Another issue: I never got down to printing QSLs directly, i.e. without a
label but
straight on the cards. I did try it once, with my Brother HL-5030 laser
printer, but
as far as I remember, I had to rotate the cards 90° because the dimensions
of a QSL
would not allow the standard feeding method. But rotating the cards in the
paper tray
by 90° also meant printing in 'landscape' from DX4WIN, which didn't work and
was
reported as a bug a few months later.
Is it correct that this should work properly now, and has anyone
successfully printed
QSL cards with this type and brand of laser printer?
I also have an Epson Stylus C42 inkjet, I assume it will be easier to use
this one.
Can anyone tell me in a nutshell how to configure DX4WIN to use this
printer?
All input greatly appreciated!
