LoTW won't maintain all your QSO notes, etc.  It also won't save all your award submission/approval status, even for DXCC (since many of your QSL cards were submitted in paper form, rather than LoTW).

If I'm stating the obvious, excuse me....but how about LOTW?

Once you've uploaded your logs to LOTW, you are set...if you have any 
problems (pray to God that it doesn't happen!), simply download your ADIF 
file...
