[Dx4win] Problem printing DX4W 6.03 in Windows 98SE

I cannot print labels or anything else in DX4Win 6.03 under Windows 98SE.

However there was never a problem with DX4Win 6.02 on the same computer
and same printer Deskjet 500.

I get an error message:  Exception error at 0054F074 in 'DX4Win.exe'  read of 00000000.

Is anyone else having problems printing with 6.03?
Does anyone have a Deskjet 500 driver other than the stock Windows driver?
