[Dx4win] dxl to adif (again!)

Hi -
I'm using an oldish dx4win version 1.12.  Every now and then 
I need to convert my log from .dxl to .adif (my qsl manager is using writelog)
However  File->Import/Export->adif ->file->export generates just empty .adif
file (same apply when trying to export in writelog format).
