Alan got this correct.

There is no way to remove the second confirmation column.  It will only be 
set to Y when:

1.  You have exported the QSO to LoTW (i.e. Upload flag is set with valid date)
2.  You have marked the QSO "Upload Confirmed" by importing your report file

Simply importing your report file will NOT set the flag to Y.  You must 
have also exported the QSO.
