Subject: Re: Editing what spots are announced
Bernie and Group,
Under Preferences, in Packet 1, I tried changing the setting in Audio/Voice
to (Band/Call) as suggested, but I still have the problem.
Also for info, in Packet 1, under DX Alerts, I have (New Band or Mode)
selected.
It still announces for Award Mode Not Confirmed.
It still announces for Award Band Not Confirmed.
For these contacts it says "new band or mode" along with the mode and
callsign.
For my operation it isn't important for this announcement, I can look in the
Country Window for confirmation status. I do not understand why the program
is announcing new band or mode for countries showing worked but not
confirmed. What I really would like, is for spots to be announced by voice
and color, for a new country, new band country, and or mode that I haven't
worked, and that is not showing in the Country window for that band and or
mode. As it is I am getting this information even for those countries
already showing. Before the 6.02 and 6.03 versions I had 5.03 and there was
not a problem of this type. But it has been in both 6.02 and 6.03.
Any other suggestions and assistance is greatly appreciated.
Roy - WK4Y
