[Dx4win] HELP! Log gone!

To open my log with 373,791 QSO's,
on a 2 Gig machine takes 6 seconds.
On a 500 Mhz machine it takes 40 seconds.

To do a File/save...
2 Gig machine about 3 seconds
on the 500 Mhz machine, about 15 seconds

Performance is most likely the reason.  Remember, DX4WIN was originally
developed on much slower computers than we have today.  However, it might be
time to rethink this.  My log has over 60K QSOs and ALT-S saves almost
instantaneously on a 933 MHz P3 computer with adequate RAM and hard disk
space.
 It might be interesting to hear from others who have upwards of 200K or
more
QSOs in their log.
