Dear DX4WIN users, I seem to have a problem. Who can give me advice?
I have a Brother HL-5030 laser printer and standard sized QSL cards. I'd like to load
the tray with a stack of cards and have DX4WIN print the QSO info immediately on the
card, in stead of printing labels and having to stick a couple of hundred of those
after importing a contest log.
The paper tray does not allow me to put the cards horizontally, because the 90mm
heigth of a QSL card is too small. So I have to feed them 90 rotated, so that the
width of a card (140mm) becomes the height, and the height of a card (90mm) becomes
the width.
Question is: can I define a sheet somewhere, or a label format, that uses the card
size as the size of the paper sheet, and uses the free space on the QSL to print the
label, and print the QSO grid 90 rotated (due to the feeding method).
Anyone uses this type of printer or similar with DX4WIN to print directly on the
cards?
All input greatly appreciated! TNX
