Hi Alan, sorry for taking so long to get back to you, have been very behind on
E-mail as of late.

Save your <call>.KEY file. Uninstall both 6.03 and 6.02 (in that order). Then
install 6.03 *only* and update the country file per my web page. The reason I
say to do this is if you try to uninstall 6.02 after having installed 6.03,
it's possible to remove a shared file that 6.03 needs (something written to the
Windows directory that has to do with CW keying). My steps avoid this problem.

Yes, you need a separate log file for your DU contacts. Otherwise, as you
surmised, your DXCC totals will be messed up. However, you CAN keep all your
stateside QSOs in the same log file (see below).

DX4WIN also has a set of 3-digit group numbers. Note that the only valid
user-defined groups are 1-253. 0 is reserved for ALL QSOs, 254 for YL and 255
for QRP.

You will have to talk to Steve about getting you a new .KEY file.

Yes, export one group at a time (to ADIF), and import one group at a time (from
ADIF). The trouble may come at import time. I think if you go into
"Preferences -> QSO" you can set the "Group for new QSO" to be the matching
group number from WJ2O. You must do this BEFORE you import, and you'll have to
do it EVERY TIME you import.

Then you will need to edit the group names to give them meaningful names. Just
time consuming.

It *is* theoretically possible that WJ2O exports the group number into the ADIF
file, and that DX4WIN could import that number. I would need to see a little
bit of the ADIF output from WJ2O to be sure, then play around with trying to
get DX4WIN to recognize the group number field, whatever it's called. Feel
free to send me a sample.

Hope this helps!
