This morning, I figured that I'd be nice and answer the one (!) guy that I
heard running in the 10-10 contest to give him the points. However, after
entering his call (and yes, I was on 10m), I went down to the custom awards
field to select the 10-10 award (so I could log his 10-10#), but it wasn't
there. I checked the instructions for the custom awards file, and it
occurred to me with the addition of support for 60m that the "bands" fields
would be off (for ALL the awards...ugh). Anyway, I edited the .AWD file so
that the 10-10 award entry now looks like this:
[1010]
;Info K1AS
awdname=TenTen
bands=NNNNNNNNNYNNNNNN
pictmsk=9999999
which added an "N" before the "Y" to account for the 60 meter band. It
still isn't coming up (I did stop and restart DX4WIN). I'm pretty sure that
I counted the right number of bands:
160,80,60,40,30,20,17,15,12,10,don't care after this....
N N N N N N N N N Y
Can anyone shed any light on this? For what it's worth, I'm pretty sure
that this is the first time I've even tried to use custom awards since
moving to 6.03.
73,
David - K2DBK
