If I wasn't in such a good mood, I'd take that comment as a personal attack.
I will admit that I do not know all the intricacies of the program, but I
also know that having to do 3 or 4 steps to accomplish what seems to me
could be 1 simple step is still a major complaint of mine and perhaps some
others who have expressed the same. Not only for this program but many
others that I have and still am a beta tester for (No, I do not beta this
program).
For example again, the program in Preferences allows you to set QSO
parameters; what frequencies and modes that *I* want to operate. Why then is
this not carried over to the QSO screen? To get to CW, I have to hit C
twice, whereas if it truly showed what frequencies that *I* wanted to
operate, it would just show those and none else.
Perhaps it is not a matter of my not being familiar enough with the program
as it is my quest to make it excel even better that it is; like thinking
outside the box.

And Shift-Ctrl-Tab makes the cursor go backwards!
I think that much complaint over what is not in the program is caused
by the operator not being familiar enough with the program.
It really is very competent. And you are able to configure parts yourself!
But like so much else in the world, modern cars, microwaveovens,
videorecorders, ...
it requires some action from the pilot and you have to learn a little
yourself.
And this reflector is such a well of knowledge to me.
