[Dx4win] Moving files

To SM0MPV:

Hi all:

I use two computers too, and I use the following procedure:

1) After exiting DX4WIN in any computer (if I made any changes), I copy the
following files located in the SAVE sub-folder
   DX4WIN.AWD (awards)
   DX4WIN.CAL (calendar)
   DX4WIN.CTY (country/iota/managers databases)
   *.DXL (log files)
   DX4WIN.IEP (import/export formats)
   DX4WIN.REP (report formats)
   DX4WIN.TCP (Internet sites)

to a diskette. I don't recommend to copy the DX4WIN.CFG from a computer to
another, as the screen formats, layouts, etc., are usually different.

2) Before starting DX4WIN in the other computer, I copy the files from the
diskette back to the SAVE sub-folder, MAKING SURE not to overwrite newer
files with older ones. This may be done with the PKZIP/PKUNZIP DOS
utilities (I love DOS... hi!) which also save diskette space.

3) After exiting DX4WIN, go to setp 1)

The above procedure may be done automatically with a .BAT file.

I hope this will be useful. I can supply sample .BAT files.

Dear friends,

I am using two computers, one stationary and on laptop. Is it possible to
move the logg *.DXL, DX4WIN.CFG, DX4WIN.CTY and DX4WIN.IEP files between
the two, so I always have the same logg in both.
