[Dx4win] Fw: search wih QSL date

Folks, several of you replied directly to my
previous enquiry.
Their answer was: set "Preferences > QSO >
Searching: QSO date" = exact
Thanks for the help but... like I said in my
original posting: I had been browsing through the
preferences and this parameter IS ALREADY set to
'exact'. But it doesn't work. Either way.
User level = expert, running Win98SE.
Am I the only one to witness this problem?
