A suggestion, try Dimension 4 from Thinkingman Software. It is freeware that checks the nbs system at intervals you select. It is freeware available from
http://www.thinkingman.com/~thinkman. 

I have been using it for a few years without any problems. Keeps the computer in sync exactly.
