George:
I am logging using a special group to call out 60 meter contacts. Eventually
I suspect there will be a program revision that makes the many changes I
would expect to be required (think of all the places where there is band
related data printed, sorted, etc.). I have the five channels (1-5) stored
in memories. I set the VFO to 40 meters. Then I select MEM rather than VFO
and load one of the channels into the memory VFO. I have used the option of
recording the frequency in the QSO notes field so the correct channel
frequency is stored in the record. I change the Preference file so that the
60 meter Group Number is the default and then off I go looking for contacts.
My radio is an FT1000MP which only requires that menu 9-9 be changed to
General from USA to allow me to transmit between 5330.5 and 5403.5 kHz.

Any info on a 60M update, or did I miss it as usual?
