[Dx4win] Internet connection

I have upgraded to v6.01, my Packet and RTTY windows do not work. I can't
connect to any Spotting networks. My settings are the same as in v5.03.
I try to connect to a site and no response at all. I try a second time and
get "An exception occurred cannot change parameters while sockets connected.
 My old version 5.03 still  connects just fine with same parameters set. Any
help would be appreciated.
