Well I agree that the timing of upshifting needs to change, but I would
suggest that it occur at record insert/update time.  Doesn't really
matter if it displays properly, as long as it is consistently stored in
the database.  

A secondary issue is that the database already contains lower cased
grids, so those would need to change as well.

It shouldn't be any problems to fix that problem when it seems like that
Paul is converting the fields in the "OnExit event". He could instead do
it within the "OnChange event".... Yes I know it sound a little bit
cryptic but you do have to understand some Windows programming to know
what I mean.
