[Dx4win] cw & beep anouncements

I'm new to the reflector and wonder if anyone has fixed the problem with =

beep and Cw announcements not working thru the speakers.
Running  Ver 6.02
W98 , Beeps thru extension speakers, Cw does not??
XP Home addition  no beeps and no Cw announce thru extension speakers???
Any update on this?   Steve did not respond.
