I noticed in the 2003 ARRLDX SSB that CT ver 9.87 logged all my 20
meter contacts as 14175. I was not aware of this until looking at my
final .all and .log files.
40 meters was correctly logged as 7200, 15 meters as 21000, and 10
meters as 28000.
I used Find and Replace (CONTROL+H) to find all instances of 14175 and
change them to 14000 to avoid confusing the log reading/checking
programs.
For the 2003 CQWPX SSB I used ver 9.89.002. In the first half of my
log 20 meters was correctly logged as 14000. When I restarted it
after a rest period I see 20 meters was then being logged as 14175 in
the second half of the log. Again I used CONTROL+H to change the
14175 to 14000.
I don't know if this has any negative effects on anything but I wonder
if the log checking programs at ARRL and CQ can decode the 14175 to 20
meters for log cross-checking. I changed all my 14175 readings to
14000 just to be safe.
