[Dx4win] Good printer for direct printing on cards?

Jim, I use an Epson 2000P archival printer. The ink is waterfast and will
not smudge or fade. It pulls the cards in very nicely and prints with an
ink that will not fade with time. Their original guarantee was 200 years.
My laser printer is an Epson ActionLaser 1500, but it will not reliably feed
qsl individual cards. The Epson 2000P feeds them very nicely. I use a
preprinted card and simply print in the space on the front that will also
accept a clear label that I print on the laser printer. Both methods work
fine, but the archival inks are less expensive than the clear labels.

I'm concerned that the "jet" ink is more prone to smudging/fading than from
a traditional laser printer. Am I being paranoid?
