[Dx4win] setting filter

Well, even though I have been using the program for about a week, this
seems like a straightforward question, so let me take a shot at it and
hope that I don't put my foot in my mouth.

First, ANY date placed in the "QSL DATE" field indicates/implies that a
QSL has been mailed. Having said that (and assuming you followed this
convention), the rest is easy!

In Preferences-QSO, make sure you have the "QSO DATE" field set for
"Greater equals".

Now, press F8 to start your search, put in the very earliest date you
believe you started mailing cards out (or even a year or two earlier
than when you first mailed out-doesn't have to be exact). Then press
"Enter" to start the search. It will now find every QSO that has a date
equal or greater than the starting date you originally put in; that is,
every card that has been marked as "Mailed" since that date.

If you want to find cards that have NOT been mailed, that is even
easier. Press F8, enter 01/01/1901 and then press "Enter". This will
find all QSOs that have NO date in the QSL field; that is, cards that
have NOT been mailed out...
