It's never been wonderful, but the current rate of time loss is at least 10 
times worse than before.  I did the test suggested by AD1C and turned the 
PC off for an hour - the clock lost .6 seconds, versus 12 seconds when it 
is running, which exonerates the battery powered RTC, as far as I can see.

I use Dimension 4 for the same purpose, but expect problems when I switch 
to pure DOS for TR Log.
