I've had a problem with the DX4WIN.PUT file which can get corrupt if the 
program doesn't shut down properly or if my machine hangs.  This file can 
be deleted without any ill effect.

I thought you had to reinstall windows when you changed motherboard; maybe 
others can confirm this.
