[Dx4win] confirming

You may be getting confused with the "Cnfm" box in the QSO window. This has nothing to do with award status tracking. All this means is whether you have the QSL confirmed from the DX station: "Y" = Yes, I received the card.

In the DXCC award box (in the same QSO window, further down), there will be a pull-down, where you can change the award status from "Subm" (you sent the cards to the ARRL) to "Chkd" (the ARRL has accepted the cards as valid).
