Hello all,

Since direct additional serial boards are quit expensive, one told me just
try a USB to serial cable. I hesitated a long time, bcs I didn't knew
anything about USB protocol, but when I made the step I realise I should
have done it before.
Untill now I use 1 to 4 port USB extender, which on its turn deserve 2 USB
to serial cables, and 2 to paralel cables without any problem. the whole
self powered upset cost was less then 190 ? or 170 $. Last but not least I
bought it in Hypermarkett (general store) when shopping with XYL. ( A way
to include the expense in the general budget......hi hi ).
Good luck and dont be affraid to give it a try
IT WORKS ( Same thing can be done with Fire Wire, but guess thats only
futur talk for now.
73's es gd luck Jos ON4KJ
