In the QSO | Contest Mode window, the "Text to Add to QSO Note"=
 is independant 
of contest mode being enabled or disabled.  Simply add "$$" to=
 the "Text to 
Add..." and the frequency (if it's available to be read by DX4Win=
 from your 
rig) will be added to the QSO notes.

I'm not sure what you mean about using $$ to get the frequency=
 into a text 
file. Can you explain a bit further?
