Sorry for the confusion. Mark's description as follows is for serial port
keying and is a special case using the FIF 232C interface box. LPT or
parallel port keying is correct in the manual. In fact I did decide to use
LPT keying since I had 3 open LPT ports and use serial port only for rig
control on this radio. The pinout for serial port keying is with 25 pin
connector: pin 7 to gnd, pin 4 RTS, and pin 20 DTR. With 9 pin connector it
is pin 5 GND, pin 7 RTS, pin 4 DTR.
