Bernie,

This is normal. CW sidetone comes from PC speaker and is activated via the
BIOS setup. Voice announcement uses Windows and a Sound Card. This issue was
already addressed in this Reflector. A lot of people have (portable) PCs
without soundcard and they can hear CW sidetone this way. No solution has
been found yet to have CW sidetone use the soundcard.

Hi, I'm trying to set the CW announce to play from the sound card
speakers.
If I set the voice announce it will play out of the speakers, but the CW

defaults to the small speaker inside computer.I'm using 233mhz with
soundblaster. Version 503 dx4win.
