Mine has never missed a beat.  Set to FT1000MP Address 00 4800 default.

YOUR COM PORT   1000MS poll rate with 6 max tries.  Try the slow rate and
see if it does not work correctly.  This was an issue a couple of years ago.

I am using a 1000MP Mk V.  Have the radio interfaced with DX4WIN.  The
problem is that the CAT control comes and goes seemingly at random
intervals.  Have tried different polling speeds and seem to have the best
luck (ie longest time it operated) at 60 Ms.  Anybody with a suggestion?
