Jon,
I'm also using a Yaesu FT-1000MP/MKV with a RIGblaster plus. It's working=
fine. I use the Audio/VOX setup for my transmit mode. Review step 5, "Co=
nnect Transmit Audio Cable:" on page 2 of the RIGblaster Installation man=
ual. Adjust the audio level per step 6 and you're up and running. Works g=
reat. Don't forget to lower your power output. The MKV doesn't like runni=
ng 100% duty cycle at 200 watts. You only need a few watts for PSK31. I u=
se about 25 watts when I'm running PSK31.

I use the computer serial port for DX4win logging/radio control program a=
nd TCP/IP for spots. So can't use the serial port for PSK31 transmit. =20

Subject: [Dx4win] Troubles getting started

Hello to all. I am a brand new user of DX4WIN and am having troubles
getting the program set up to transmit on PSK31. I am using a FT1000Mp M=
k
V, a computer which works well with other logging programs and the Rigbla=
ster.

Right now I have the setup configured for MixW and LOGic (they interface)
and all is working well. When I try to use the same com port for rig
control nothing happens. I have the com port configured at 4800, None, 8
and 2.

Have read and re-read the instructions and cannot for the life of me see
where I am going.

I would really like to use DX4WIN because of it's ease in logging
etc. Just can't get over the PSK hurdle (yet).

TIA for any help that anyone could provide.

Jon
