DXpeditions for the year 2014



I have had several inquiries about going over to Southern Africa and doing a DXpedition. Everyone asks when the next trip is. In looking over the 2014 calendar I have thought about the following times.

·       Feb: CQ WW WPX RTTY CONTEST

                ARRL INTERNATIONAL CW DX CONTEST

·       March: CQ WPX SSB CONTEST

              ARRL INTERNATIONAL SSB DX CONTEST

·       May: CQ WPX SSB CONTEST

·       July: IARU HF WORLD CONTEST

·       Sept: CQ WW RTTY CONTEST

·       Oct: CQ WW SSB CONTEST

·       Nov: CQ WW CW CONTEST

·       Dec: ARRL 160 CONTEST

         ARRL 10 METER CONTEST



Aside from the above suggestions, if you or a group have something else in mind as a preference for either dates or to cover a specific contest, please feel free to reach out to me via email at 3da0cf at gmail.com so we can talk about possibilities. I can cover various destinations and have plenty of experience coordinating these trips.

With fixed infrastructure in places at some venues for 7P8, A2, and 3DA, I can also cater for different venues with some upfront planning, such as C9. We are potentially looking at a 9J operation in the not-too-distant future as well.



Non radio activities are available, such as game viewing at Kruger National Park, hunting, Victoria Falls and other tourist attractions, as add-ons to the DXepidition.
