Hi Don,
Here is my data from January 1979 to present including 19,549 QSOs for my
station as W2NRA, including ex WU2K, AA4LC, KG2A, KB2NS, KA2DZW
I am conducting an informal survey of QSLing methods and would very much
appreciate your input. Please respond directly to me.
1. Do you use the Logbook of the World (LOTW)? YES
If not, what has kept you from using it?
2. Do you use the eQSL service? YES
If not, what has kept you from using it?
3. Do you use the QSL Bureau system? YES
If not, what has kept you from using it?
4. Do you send out direct QSLs? YES
If not, what has kept you from doing so?
5. What is the approximate percentages of your QSLs received via:
LOTW 65%
eQSL 35%
Bureau 30%
Direct 13%
The above is a percentage of received against Total QSLs received. If you
wanted percentage of QSLs received against total QSOs in log it is this:
LOTW 39%
eQSL 21%
Bureau 12%
Direct 8%
Thanks very much for your participation. Any additional comments are
welcome.
I was pleasantly surprised at the number of ARRL DXCC Mode/Band counters
I've received via LotW - 537. With the Logging software I use, DXLab
Suite's DXKeeper, it is no effort and almost automatic to participate in
LotW 100%. The same can be said for eQSL, though I really have no use for
it. I'm not a CQ Awards participant.
Most of my Bureau QSLs were in response to requests sent to me via the
Bureau.
