I believe that the radio was a Heathkit SB102. Here
is another good exercise. See how many movies/TV
shows you can think of that make reference to ham
radio. Here is my list so far:
1. Frequency
2. High Frequency-see a kid on 1 land work HB on 2 mhz
at the middle of the afternoon. Uses Icom Equipment
3. Phenomenom-believe they are using Kenwood TS940
4. Contact
5. The Munsters-herman gets a ham radio with a really
big tube in it. Sings over the air
6. The Simpsons-in one episode, we see that one of
Marge's sisters is a ham radio operator. It is her
only form of social contact (that hits close to home)
Any others you can think of?
