[DX] ARRL BPL Video

I have to make the correction here, it will not affect AM broadcast =
radio,
cordless telephones, personal home monitors, TV, or any other device =
that
receives or transmits RF outside the range of ~2 MHz to ~80 MHz. There =
are
probably a few cordless phones out there that use the 50 MHz range but =
most
are well above that now at 900 MHz or higher. Here locally the utility
company use 70 MHz over the power lines to throw switches within their =
grid
circuit and many utility companies are doing this without any =
interference
issues. I am very concerned that this could easily get out of hand =
though.

Nothing like statistical babble to not say anything and to insite others =

frustrated by no answer.

BPL is being tested at specific locations. It is not in a full =
operational=20
mode and necessarily near the public. What a foolish move to place it =
near
the=20
people it would bother until after they get it approved.

BPL will come to every power line in America if approved. That =
certainly=20
means that it is going to effect every amateur, in fact every citizen. =
AM
radio,=20
cordless phone, personal home monitors, TV, everything used involving RF
will=20
be effected.

By any chance, are you a dfense lawyer for a power company. Your =
evassive=20
attitude is just what I would expect someone looking to protect them =
would
take.
