One thing we should keep in mind - The FCC is not the only frequency
allocation authority in the US.  The military objected to the ham use of
the new 60 meter allocation, with the "channelization" scheme being the
compromise.  

I don't believe the military will stand still and allow this to happen
without a fight.  They have too much vested in HF communications to
allow a new system such as BPL which could potentially disrupt their
communication.

We MARS members need to express our concern to our state and regional
MARS directors in addition to the FCC.
