I am testing a special version of AR-Cluster's telnet keep alive function.

It has been tested against DXBase2003, I would appreciate it if users of
other logging programs, especially those who have experienced problems
staying connected via telnet, would test their logging programs.

This version sends just NULL NULL as opposed to NULL NULL CR. There are
apparently some logging programs telnet clients which in error generate a
Line Feed, i.e. a blank line in response to the sequence NULL NULL CR. Such
programs are not following the telnet specification, however we are trying
to work with such misbehaving programs with this test.

If you will connect via telnet to 204.221.76.52, i.e. DXSPOTS.COM, and then
after sign-on enter: "set/nodx_ann" and "set/noann." This will reduce the
traffic to next to nothing, and as such every two minutes you will receive
a keep alive packet from me. What I want to know is if this packet results
in any strange characters, any blank lines or other unexpected effects.

Stay connected for long enough to make the test valid please, perhaps an
hour. I would also like to know if you still get disconnected
unexpectedly.

When you are done reset your settings to: set/dx_ann and set/ann.
