If you feel a particular expedition is merely someone's vacation, then don't
send them any money (outside of an SASE or SAE/IRC or SAE/GS to cover
postage for your card).  Or don't work them at all and then you have nothing
to feel guilty about.

You can only have your arm twisted if you let someone twist it.  If you
don't like the (as you put it) "whining," then don't read it.  If you don't
want someone to put you into a "guilt trip," then don't.

I contribute what I can, when I can, to those that (I think) are worthy of
contributing to.  Sometimes I can't contribute even when I think it's
worthy.  I have never had a problem getting a card when I wasn't able to
make a contribution.
