You know, I have never been in favor of using
the "last two"...I'm not saying I have never done
it, cause I have, just as I fear most DX'ers have.
I hate it in contests because it takes up time
when you say the Yankee Bravo go ahead,
then you have to wait to get the rest of the call, etc...
It's stupid, a waste of time and I could go on.
This probably started with DX Net controllers...
maybe it made them  feel bigger than they already
thought they were.
  The absolutely most stupid thing I have ever
heard was today on 10 meters. An AP2 with a very good signal
was not asking for the last two, but, can you believe this...
ONLY THE PREFIX??????? WOW WAS THAT SMART OR WHAT?
One station came back with Kilo Charlie, and he actually came back
and said Kilo Charlie is not a complete prefix...it has to have
a number.
Wish I had a recording of that
