Remember when you had to buy a Radio Amateur's Callbook the size=
 of a
New Yawk City phone book each year, plus the quarterly=
 supplements,
just to keep up on who is who? Well, you'll find that the=
 internet
has really replaced the RAC, for the most part, since the FCC now=

publishes the entire callsign database online for anyone to=
 download
and 'publish' online. Many of the online databases also include=
 DX
callsign/address info as well.

For example, go to http://www.qrz.com and insert I1YRL's=
 callsign in
the search engine, and you'll find lots of information about=
 Luciano,
including his email address. If you're in doubt whether or not=
 to
send a QSL via the bureau or direct, drop him an email just as=
 easy
as you sent your message, here, and I'm sure he'll be glad to=
 advise
you as to how the best method would be.

There are still services that sell foreign mint stamps for you to=
 put
onto an SAE - others want IRC's (they cost a bunch more now than=
 they
did a decade ago) - and others still swear by the QSL bureaus.

Good luck, and welcome back!
