Subject: [Dx-qsl] 20 meter Band died at 2005Z15 July 2002

A sudden S9 HF noise level followed by 'The Band's Dead'.

GOES 8 & 10 Xray satellite shows an almost four order of magnitude
increase in xray flux at 2005Z. Looks like we're down for a while.

Greetings All,

What happen to the bands about 2004Z...I was in the middle of a PSK QSO on
15 meter which started at 1958Z...Turned it back to PA0WCH and nothing...NOT
one signal on 15 meters...Will be interesting to see what the numbers are
later....

I think I'll go cut the grass........

Don, W4YCH
