So much for intelligent, reasoned argument.

About 2 hours ago, one of the eQSL zealots basically told me in a private
email that my opinion was not wanted by him or his cronies -- ie, I was to
stop pointing out that the Emperor was wearing no clothes.  I privately
replied to the effect that if he couldn't handle a discussion, he shouldn't
start spamming the list with his opinion.

Within the last hour, I have been signed up for 275 email newsletters or
lists, for everything ranging from Infoworld's services to Canadian
Christian.  And more coming.

I am sending this merely to warn others who disagree with the eQSL zealots
that they should be prepared for this type of response in the future.  It
tells me all I need to know.  'nuff said.
