Hello Ray and list members....
Here are 2 lat / lon sites that one can search for lat and lon if they
know the name of the location they are interested in...or even the name
of the region. Neither site recognizes Ham Radio IOTA #'s

http://gnpswww.nima.mil/geonames/GNS/index.jsp
I was able to look up Ducie Island, Kerala Islands, etc at both sites.
The first one listed has a leaner and easier-to-use GUI - IMHO I have
bookmarked these two.
They were both found using a search-bot program called Copernic 2001
Pro. There is also a free version of Copernic at www.copernic.com but
it does display an ad banner window....but the search results are just
as good most times....
