[DX] Where is N. America advantage?

A couple of months ago I posted a message on the
reflectors asking why does 6 meters suck relative to
other parts of the world in terms of DX-like EU to AF,
EU to SA, etc. Got some good responses-especially
about how the geomagnetic equator takes a dip in the
Atlantic Ocean, which explains alot of the paths.

So assuming that the geomagnetic equator explains our
poor dxing on 6 meters, and don't get me wrong, there
was some nice dx to be worked from NA, just not near
as much as EU and SA seem to get, and continue to be
getting, where do we make up?

I would like to think that there is something like
Universal Propogation Justice, so since we lose out on
6 meters, we have a bigger advantage over the rest of
the world somewhere else. If so, where is our
advantage? I have not had the privledge of operating
from other countries (expect 2 meter FM in VE and
KH6), so do not know how our propogation compares to
other areas of the world. Are the bands or paths that
we have a distinct advantage over EU, SA, AS, or OC in
terms of having much better DX paths? Figure AF has
their own advantage due to rareness.

So, I am interested in hearing where the propogation
Gods made up for the shortchanging we get on 6 meter
DX.
