A35CT, Craig S. Thompson, was at the time KI0SO. As I recall he went through some difficult times and never was able to get QSLs printed and sent out. He later moved and changed his call to KX4RF. This is his obit from the May 13, 2020 issue of The Daily DX.
A35CT (3D2TC, KI0SO, KX4RF), Craig S. Thompson, passed away on May 12th. “Craig had been in hospice care, so this isn't entirely unexpected”, says KK6H (A35A), Paul Kidd, an old friend, who received the phone call from Craig’s wife Dawn. Craig was born and raised in Iowa, where he “had a successful career as a computer programmer and IT manager in the banking industry, in Iowa, Hawaii, Fiji, and Tonga”. Craig enjoyed “being on the DX side of things” as will be remembered as “a generous, cheerful, fun-loving man, and a good friend”.
