[Dx-qsl] Help for YW6X

All,

I received an email from Scott W4SO this morning telling me what the YW6X qsl situation is.  Scott only collects the cards for the dxpedition and when it works out (which hasn't happened for a while) they get carried to YV land.  The way the postal system works there if we sent them direct they would never get into the hands of the people we we want them to.  

We owe him a big thanks for taking on this task, I am sure that his mail box has been stuffed to the max at times.

Yupp, same story here. Worked them, sent a card and have heard nothing.  It would seem OQRS would be the only way DX operations would go these days.  It is mostly an automated process and payment to them is instantaneous.

I worked them 07/11/2014. Sent my QSL to W4SO 16/11/2014. Sent a follow up
email 15/05/2015. No answer as yet. Still waiting. No info or updates in
their QRZ.COM page. Their FB page is gone.

It is such a shame for such a large group of hams to activate an IOTA, make
1000's of contacts, spend a lot of money, make special arrangements with
their Navy for travel, and then not have a QSL system. ClubLog OQRS would be
great. A USA based QSL manager such as W4SO would be great but there is no
info on his QRZ.COM page concerning his QSL activities or any mention of
being the QSL manager for YW6X. DM4TI has ClubLog look ups for many YV ops
but none for YW6X. Many beautiful pictures and other info on QRZ.COM but
nothing concerning QSL's. So the world is waiting.................

Also no confirmation on LoTW

Nothing received here so far - email to W4SO remains unanswered.

Any idea? May be one of our venezuelan friends can help?

SA-090 would be a new IOTA for me.
