[Dx-qsl] DXCC from multiple locations?

The rules have always allowed remote operation as long as the operator and the remote station were inside the same DXCC Entity. The rules have also allowed operation in a separate DXCC Entity but any contacts made while in the second entity count for that entity only. The part of the new rules I object to is the part that allows the operator and remote station to be in different entities and leaving to the honor of the operator to abide by the rules of the entity where the transmitter is located. Meaning that if I operated a remote station in Italy then I must use I/KC5LK and that any contacts I make using that remote station cannot be used for any DXCC Awards I have for KC5LK so long as I felt that not using the portable identifier was justified because I need that contact for #1HR or any other reason that may happen along.
We all know that while the size of the antenna and the amount of power the transmitter can put into the antenna helps it is really the skill of the operator that puts the rare ones into the logbook. If someone wants to use their lack of ability as an excuse to use a rental station then so be it. That operator will never understand the real joy of logging the last one for #1HR from a station that they put together just for themselves.

Now that I (the operator) can be anywhere in the universe (even on the
"dark side of the moon")... I'm wondering...
Can I then obtain a DXCC award from ANYWHERE too?
In other words... maybe I stand a better chance of making Honor Roll or
increasing my Challenge credits if I'm operating as WA9PIE/OK... which
would be pretty centrally located in Europe... maybe even easier to earn a
2m DXCC from there if the station is capable.
...maybe I get there even quicker if I can find a remote station in a rarer
DXCC entity.
