[Dx-qsl] US QSL bureua question

Hi all,

one question on US QSL bureaus.

If I had worked a station with a K6 callsign and I would like to send him a card via the bureau,
the card will forwarded to the W6 bureau, I assume.

But what happens, with my card when the K6 OM lives in North Carolina? I saw this
when I checked the call in QRZ.com. Will the card even reach him (of course he must be a ARRL member etc.).?
I think NC belongs not to the W6 bureau.
