I don't know how wide spread this knowledge is but when QSLing to
Canada it is possible to purchase Canadian Postage on-line at face
value and in small amounts directly from www.CanadaPost.ca.  For
example, I recently ordered one booklet of 6 Canada to US stamps -
cost 6 x $1.20 CDN with no additional PST/GST and no shipping charge.
The final cost came to $6.45 US and I had the stamps in one week by
Express Mail.

Current Canadian Rates are $1.20 to the US, $2.50 to the rest of
the world.  Appropriate postage is available in coils of 50,
booklets of 6, or strips of 4 and 10 stamps.  Do not over buy as
these are not "Forever" stamps and will undoubtedly require "make-
up" postage next year (for example the "International" rate went
from $1.85 in 2013 to $2.50 in 2014).
