[Dx-qsl] Questions about QSLing stations in China

I've read conflicting information about methods for obtaining good QSL 
response rates from stations in China. What methods have others used 
with success?

Specific questions:

1. Address envelope in English, Chinese, or both?
2. Green stamps, IRC, or Chinese postage stamps?
3. SAE or just an address label?
4. Is mail theft a significant problem?
5. Is use of Registered mail more reliable?
