[Dx-qsl] QSO's without any QSL requested

Happy Easter to all of you.
One question that jumps in my mind is, did somebody ever try to estimate the
percentage of contacts made by "Radio Station Owners", who just make their
QSO's without any intention at all to get those contacts confirmed. 
Be it to prove the power of their station, do something for their ego, climb
up on some leaderboard or whatever, you name it.
Since they do not QSL, they will not donate either.
